The Redwood Valley Outdoor Education Project is a project of the Ukiah Unified School District providing one-day outdoor environmental education experiences for students on a 45-acre site of undeveloped woodland in rural Northern California. The educational program is tailored to specific grade levels and includes stream science studies on the West Fork of the Russian River. The two and a half miles of trails are used extensively by community members for hiking, horseback riding, and bicycling. This volunteer operated facility is financially self-supporting with a credentialed teacher running the educational program.
